Just a 30-minute drive from Mackay yet seemingly a million miles from everywhere, The Lodge @ Awaken Retreats is a special getaway in the Australian bush. The four-hectare, semi-rural property features areas of natural dry-rainforest, seasonal creeks and attracts a number of native birds and small marsupial species. Our hope is to provide an environment in which individuals or small groups can find true rest, and engage in periods of quiet contemplation within the beautiful natural setting.
